Reconstruction of football field and children playground in Tekija

On Tuesday, November the 3rd the beginning of work on a project of reconstruction in Tekija, municipality in Kladovo, eastern Serbia, that has been the most affected by last year's devastating floods. The project of reconstruction in Tekija is being implemented by ENECA, with the financial support of the company Philip Morris.

Through this donor project, ENECA and Philip Morris are trying to provide support to the recovery and improving the quality of life of citizens in Tekija, a community that has been quite badly affected by the floods and in which the lack of funds for the reconstruction made the current situation worse than it was before the floods.

Reconstruction works will include renovating destroyed football field, which aims to improve the quality of life of all inhabitants of the Tekija, considering that this area is a central gathering place, place of entertainment and joint activities in this community. Through the program, renovation and expansion of the children playground is also planned, so the youngest citizens of the Tekija can have a carefree childhood as well.

The opening of the construction site was attended by the mayor of Kladovo Dragan Budujkic and Head of the KLER Kladovo Slađan Bobic as well as and Ivan Miletic and Jelena Preradovic-Stevanovic in front of the company Philip Morris and Milivoje Jovanovic representing ENECA.
