UPSKILLING – ACQUISITION OF COMPETENCES IN AN EXISTING OCCUPATION is the process of teaching workers new skills in the same workplace, while RESKILLING – ACQUISITION OF COMPETENCES IN A NEW OCCUPATION is the process of training workers to fill another position in the same company.
