NGO ENECA is currently working on the implementation of the project within the European Union assistance program for flooded areas in Serbia, as an implementing partner of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC). The program aims to help people in the municipalities most affected by the floods in May 2014. ENECA, given its previous experience and orientation, is engaged in support activities for 54 small and micro enterprises that suffered flood damage in these six municipalities. Entrepreneurs will be provided with the rehabilitation of business facilities that suffered damage in the floods, and they will be procured and delivered the necessary equipment and raw materials for work to restart business activities.

The total number of grants was distributed among the municipalities as follows: 24 grants were awarded to entrepreneurs in Paracin, 20 in Uba, 4 in Koceljeva, 3 in Smederevska Palanka, 2 in Velika Plana and 1 in Cacak. The realization process started in the fall and so far the process of selecting the entrepreneurs who suffered the most damage, the specification of equipment and materials for procurement for them, the tender procedure for selecting suppliers, and the works on repairing damaged business facilities have been completed. 

All activities are implemented in accordance with the adopted European methodology and in cooperation with representatives of local communities.
